Why

I'm going to try to show off my world, or the world from my point of view, by posting a picture a day for a whole year. I'm not sure if this will be a success, but I have to give it a try.

Day 121

No, I don't have too many Carolina Panther's cups. Why do you ask?

Day 117

Peas and carrots, mashed potatoes, and sausages. Not a spectacular dinner, but it gets the job done.

Day 116

This was supposed to be a huge spider web, but the camera decided to take a picture of the ground. Oh well.

Day 115

Blast from the past - this was a UFC event I went to in Charlotte several months ago.

Day 114

On the first full day of Fall, its a burning 92 degrees outside. Thats why this tree will stay green until November. It will change, though, to a very bright yellow.

Day 113

Instead of taking another picture of and around my apartment, I decided to post an example of my photo-shopping hobby.

A friend of mine joked about wanting his face put on Muhammad Ali's body in the picture where he's standing over a boxer in the ring. I was bored one day and decided to make that happen. All I needed was that picture, a picture of him, and a photo-editing program.

Some searching on the internet, a bit of copy and pasting, little bit of airbrushing, some careful erasing, and a short while later, we have this.

Once you get the basic principals down, anything is possible.

Day 108

These were made maybe a mile away from where I grew up. And I live nearly 700 miles away from there now.

Day 106

"You are always welcome in any gathering." Honestly, I was expecting a little bit more from my Jones Soda cap. I'm not sating it's a bad cap, but maybe something a bit more fortune-y would be better.

Day 104

Baklava sundae at the Greek Festival in Charlotte. This is slowly replacing Christmas as the most wonderful time of the year.

Day 103

Going through week 2 without a microwave. Not having it does make the kitchen look bigger, but it's when you don't have it, you realize how much you used it.

Day 102

He's still making music? Good for him. Actually, this is happening across the street from me. So now I'll know why there's so much traffic and so many people around on the 25th.

Day 99

Well, I'll be the first to admit that the $9 shoes experiment was a failure. When they started to fall apart a while back, I didn't think I'd be able to get my hand through them.

Day 96

Yeah, thats the Crucifixion. On a tie. Yup, I live in the bible belt.

Day 95

The only thing that the sign pointed to was a gas station. so, again, what does it mean?

Day 94

Out for a friends birthday.
