Day 270
This is what I saw when trying to use the urbanspoon app to find someplace to eat dinner. It just kept spinning and spinning and spinning. In the end, I gave up and went to Portofino's. So I guess it kinda worked.

Day 267
An actual fortune from a fortune cookie. "Look around yourself. Your answer is nearby." Philosophical and mysterious.

Day 266
Ahh, Jersey Mike's...a small slice of home. Probably the closest thing to real subs I could hope to find here in the south.

Day 265
These were being sold along with Easter candy and stuffed Easter animals (chicks, rabbits, etc.). I know its hard enough trying to weave things like candy and the Easter Bunny into the whole Easter celebration when you look at it from a strictly religious point of view, but how do baby dinosaurs enter into it?

Day 262
I've now added a broken DVD player to my bag of random electronic parts. If I were just a little bit smarter, I could build a really nice computer. Possibly a home theater PC.

Day 261
After years of faithful service, my phone case usefulness has come to an end. Might get the pipes playing Amazing Grace as it gets tossed in the trash.

Day 259
I got what I wanted for valentines day. Money. A whole dollar and ninety-eight cents. Thanks, Rolling Stone! Should have cancelled a lot sooner.

Day 258
Books can be made into video games, eh? This would have made book reports a lot easier when I was a kid. Easier, but probably very inaccurate. And, honestly, if they made a game based on Edith Wharton's Ethan Frome, I still wouldn't like it.

Day 257
So, when the little red light came on the mouse I knew it had to be one of three things:
1. Needs new batteries
2. Self destruct had been initiated
3. It was the new hub of the internet

Day 256
Really AT&T? I pay how much each month for service and you decide to only give me spotty shoddy inconsistent 3G reception in my apartment? Really? If I wanted plain old Edge, I would only pay for that. But I don't, do I? You're just making this inevitable switch to Verizon a lot easier.

Day 247
New Flapper! You can't really see it, but its called The Hornet V. Of all things to name "The Hornet V" it's a small flap of rubber inside a toilet.

Day 246
Really? Great. Looks like I need a new toilet flapper valve. Just add it to my life's ever increasing, Sisyphean "to do" list.
